Scope & Content Photograph album of the Longmont Hospital Training School for Nurses, graduating class of 1919. Album includes many candid snapshots of the nurses. Photos have short, sometimes humorous captions, but are rarely identified by name. Photos also have soldiers in uniform posing in front of the Longmont Hospital building, and nurses in costumed vignettes like a wedding. Medical photos include four photos apparently taken during a surgical procedure, photos of patients outside in wheelchairs

Black leather-like photograph album with gold-colored print, "Photographs," in upper left corner. Cover and each page has two holes with a black cotton cord running through and knotted on inside of front cover. Pages are deteriorated with some photos missing and ten loose photographs with the album. Also there are six loose pages. Photographs are black and white, several have captions in white pencil, but no one is identified. Photos appear to be mainly of nurses and some doctors, some of the women are in nurses' uniforms. Information on donor sheet, "In school around 1917. Graduating class of 1919, Longmont Hospital. Gaynor (95.23.2, photo) was very helpful to the young women in nursing school."
