|Admin/Biographical History||The Longs Peak Grange #450 was instituted in 1940. It was headquartered at the grange hall at 7521 Ute Hwy, west of Longmont. The Longs Peak Grange met biweekly. As a part of the national grange organization, it centered around agricultural and rural themes. The Colorado State Grange was founded in 1874, and the Boulder Valley Pomona (a grouping of granges that eventually included the Longs Peak Grange) was founded some years afterward. The grange was still active in the late 1960s, according to the records. Its date of discontinuing activity is not known.|
